The Trauma Audit and Research Network is the independent monitor of trauma care in England and Wales and promote improvements in care through national comparative clinical audit. TARN has been operating since 1989 and in 1997 became self-funding. The TARN database is the largest trauma database in Europe with more than 260,000 cases including over 30,000 paediatric patients. |
